Flatter Files now supports two step authentication.  Two step authentication adds an extra layer of security to your Flatter Files account.  In addition to each user within your organization having a password to access the account, two step authentication requires each user to enter a code that is text messaged to the users phone.  The additional step greatly enhances the security of your account.

Two step authentication is an optional setting and can easily be turned on by the account administrator. Once it is turned on, the next time each user logs onto Flatter Files they must enter a phone number that can receive a text message.

Each time the user accesses Flatter Files on a new device, a text message will be sent to the phone number and the user will have to enter the code to complete the login process.  The user is then authenticated on that device for 30 days.  Once the 30 days are up, the login process will once again text message a new code that must be entered.
Flatter Files takes security of your account extremely seriously.  No  matter what is done technically though, the most insecure part of accessing Flatter Files is a users password accidentally ending up in the wrong hands.  By requiring two step authentication, the person would not only need a users password they would also have to have the users phone.  Thus, Flatter Files is significantly more secure if you require two step authentication.
